About Carolyn J. Huffman, MA, LMT, AP
Carolyn J. Huffman has been a dedicated practitioner of massage therapy (service no longer offered), acupuncture, and Chinese medicine for over three decades, helping clients achieve wellness, balance, and fertility success.
She began her career in education, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Central Michigan University in 1979 and a Master’s in Learning Disabilities from Valdosta State College in 1981. Carolyn taught for several years at the junior and senior high school levels before discovering her passion for holistic health.
In 1983, she completed her massage therapy training at the New School of Massage in Temple Terrace, Florida, and soon after established her practice in South Tampa. After experiencing the profound benefits of acupuncture and Chinese medicine for her own back pain, she expanded her studies at the Florida Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in St. Petersburg, earning her degree in 1991 and incorporating these therapies into her practice.
Carolyn has a particular focus on fertility and reproductive wellness. Featured on Channel 10 for a fertility success story in 2005, she has since trained with renowned experts including Dr. Randine Lewis, Dr. Mike Berkeley, Jane Lyttleton, and Dr. Paul Magarelli. She has helped numerous couples conceive naturally and in conjunction with advanced Western fertility treatments. Her expertise has been recognized on local radio, television, and in print publications, including the Tampa Tribune.
Since 1984, Carolyn has maintained and evolved her South Tampa practice into a serene, professional setting. In 2002, she transformed a historic home into an elegant space for healing, where she continues to offer acupuncture and Chinese medicine.
